Baseline session
Lisa works with your student and quietly notes where things are strong and where they're not.
Weeks 2–4
Steady cadence
Weekly sessions on the same day and time. Parents get a brief recap after each one.

- What if the first session isn't a good fit?
- Then it's free. Tell us within 24 hours of the session and we'll refund it, or return the credit to your account if you paid with a package. We want trying Abide to feel zero-risk.
- Can we meet Lisa before booking?
- Yes. Book a free 15-minute meet-the-teacher video call right on the booking page. Pick an open time and the link arrives by email. No payment needed.
- What if my child is nervous about the first session?
- That's completely normal, and Lisa plans for it. The classroom greets your child by name, the controls are four big buttons a kid can't get lost in, and the first minutes are spent drawing together on the whiteboard, not sitting on camera. Most kids relax the moment they earn their first star.
- Are sessions recorded?
- Only the sound, and only if you said yes when you booked. Video is never recorded. Lisa's web browser records the lesson audio and keeps it in our private storage. Deepgram, an outside company, turns it into a written transcript, and an AI tool drafts your recap from it. Lisa reads and edits every recap before it's sent. The audio file is deleted after the transcript is made. The transcript and notes are kept, and you can delete any lesson's recording and transcript from your account. Parents are welcome to sit in on any session.
- What if I need to reschedule?
- Right from your account page, no email needed. Reschedule up to 24 hours before your session (up to two reschedules per booking). Cancel at least 24 hours out and the session returns to your account as a credit to use another time. Inside 24 hours, the session counts as used.
